The First of its Kind

The Cambodia Science and Engineering Festival is the first free, non-profit event that is open to all Cambodian youth. Taking place in March 2015, it aims to bring together partners from industry, education and entertainment to get the whole of Cambodia excited about STEM! The Festival is catalysed by the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, USAID and Golden West Humanitarian Foundation.

A Non-Profit Event

All donations to the CSEF will be used for only one use: the creation of the CSEF. All of the team involved in planning and implementing the CSEF are volunteers and wherever possible, anything that is needed to bring the festival will be sourced for free. That means that we can use all money raised in bringing kids to the festival from the provinces and making sure that everyone in attendance feels the excitement and possibility that is STEM!

Cambodia Science and Engineering Festival FAQs

The 2st Cambodian Science & Engineering Festival is completely free and open to the public.

All schools, public and private are strongly encouraged to bring students to the festival during school hours for an educational and fun experience! For teachers who are interested in having your students participate in workshops, please contact us using the get involved form.

All of the sponsor and donor funding goes towards making the festival awesome. What does that mean? It means the money is spent on busing in students from provincial public schools, tables, tents, portable toilets, generators, sound systems and other critical infrastructure. None of the core festival staff receive any monetary compensation.

Thank you for your interest in the 2st CSEF!  For more information on how to get involved, please see click here!

Does your personal project/product demonstrate something related to Science, Technology, Engineering or Math?  Is your project/product independent of any commercial company?  If the answer to both of these question is YES, then you may be eligible for free exhibit space!  Sound exciting?  We think so, but keep in mind it takes time and effort to create a display and provide staff over the 3 day festival, but we can help you with that.  If you are interested, please contact us using the form HERE
